I’m Yvette, the founder of YVESSENTIALS.  I made my first essential oil blend in 2022.  My motivation?  I was 53 and dealing with pigmentation, jowls (urrgghh!) and linear lines along my mouth that aged my face and made me look harder than I felt.  Whilst I honour the aging process and the serenity and wisdom (?) it brings, I wanted to have some control over the process.  You know what I mean?!

My mom had the worst pigmentation decades ago, that I had ever seen.  Her complexion is much improved.  In 2022 she was 89 and even though I her skin was lovely due to the costly dermatological products prescribed at the time, I think the faint remnants of pigmentation and discolouration bothered her.  I put together a blend of antioxidant, moisturising and rejuvenating oils for both of us to use.

After about 5 weeks amazing things started to happen.  My mom started receiving feedback that was just astounding—everyone noticed a positive change in her skin, her complexion and appearance.  Encouraged by this, I shared my blends with friends, eager to see how different skin types would respond. The results were overwhelmingly positive—improved skin health and an enhanced sense of well-being.

Thus, YVESSENTIALS was born. From our first product that Mom and I used, which I cheekily called Yummy Youth night oil, the demand grew rapidly. Today, we cater not just to skincare needs but also to promoting holistic wellness. Our products are not only cosmetic; they contribute to emotional, mental, and physical well-being. This intersection of beauty and wellness is deeply fulfilling for me and our clients.
